About the artist

Sainer

Polish superstar Sainer (Przemek Blejzyk) is a contemporary artist whose work has a strong, undeniable connection with painterly tradition and history. His aesthetics however are infused with a 21st century digital hyper-vibrancy, making his work a contemporary version of Fauvism and Impressionism. Sainer's work appears in galleries, murals and this Fall for the first time in the shape of a League scarf.

About the project

Made by artists. Worn by fans.

The League Extraordinaire is a football scarf project that was established in 2015 by Dutch design studio Kern. Every year four of Kern's favorite artists are invited to join The League Extraordinaire (TLE). The number of scarves produced is limited to a one time run for which fans need to pre-order, with a minimum of 60.

The scarves are made from high quality yarn. The type of scarf that both hooligans and members of VIP lounges wear to show their club-love. Every scarf is produced in the EU in a single run, sent in a solid carton box that fits through a standard letter box, tagged with a numbered edition-label.
